The Company was founded by Tara Roesler in 2006 when her husband, Alan, completed his first book, An Arizona Aviator in France, and was seeking a reasonably priced publisher to complete the cover design, layout and actual printing of the book. Unable to do so, together they decided to Self-Publish.
As an MBA with business experience, Tara handled the business aspects of Self-Publishing: incorporating the business in the State of Arizona, obtaining the copyright from the US Copyright Office, securing a block of ISBN numbers for the company, gaining recognition from the Library of Congress in order to get a number for the book, and lastly, researching various book styles and layouts in order to layout Alan’s book herself.
Alan, an experienced aviation researcher, writer and editor, embarked upon a path to find a printing house to produce the work. Though his contacts at Over The Front, where he served as Managing Editor for three years, he secured the services of a Canadian printing company.
In October 2007, Alan finally realized his dream as An Arizona Aviator in France became a published work.
After completing Alan’s book, Tara and Alan met many individuals who expressed frustration at all the roadblocks to getting their manuscripts published. The expanded version of Roesler Enterprises Publishing came into being when they realized they could share their newly gained knowledge and expertise with other new authors to ease their path to publication and the realization of their dreams.
